    Description

    Hand blown vaseline glass window ornament with feathering pattern. This is a rather large ornament. Not a Christmas ball.  The vaseline glass is applied to the exterior of the piece and as it is a rather stiff glass  it has a very pronounced surface texture. The vaseline glass was applied to the exterior of the piece, which was then twisted to make horizontal lines. The piece was then reheated and manipulated with a tool to make vertical lines alternating north and south to create a feathered pattern.
